Radio-Assist 7.5Look Up tools provide access to files in the database to all those involved in radio work (presenters, journalists, technician, broadcast heads, chief editors, etc.). Each user enters a name and password to view and access the required data.

Browser, consultation by LAN or WAN

The Browser is on all workstations on the Radio-Assist system and gives each user access to the data library. There are many search criteria to find files quickly. Each type of file is represented by a tab where several search criteria are defined. All the browser tabs are "dynamic": the radio formats its own tab names and search criteria.

Access to a remote database:

Radio-Assist 7.5 offers the ability to connect to one or more remote databases. Thus, through a WAN connection or a dedicated network, the user is browsing and sharing audio or text files, with national or regional sites. Exchanges can also be automated and take into account transmission priorities considering network congestion.

Speech to text :

For an advanced search, Radio-Assist 7.5 integrates a Speech To Text feature. Once the audio file is transcribed into text, the user types a word or phrase. The search engine displays a list of audio documents responding to his request. At the opening of the document, the cursor will move to that word or phrase searched.

Insider, consultation and exchange through Intranet

Insider gives access to the database browser via an intranet network from an ordinary desktop computer. All the browser functions areactive: multi-criteria search, immediate smooth play and viewing, etc. On-screen controls are those of a VCR (Play,Stop,Fast Forward,Rewind,Volume Control,etc.).The latest report can now be seen anywhere from the reception desk to the manager's office and the quality is the same as that of the original. Insider also manages file exchange between remote sites by FTP protocol. The major feature of the new version of Insider by NETIA is radio playlist processing in real time.The user can consult the day's playlist to play or view items on the schedule and, more to the point, follow the on-air broadcast.The on-air item can be directly picked out with the Insider synchronisation function.When the schedule is modified, it is immediately updated.

Insider Pocket PC

Insider Pocket PC provides all Insider functionality on a PDA. The best way of staying in permanent contact with the radio when travelling or absent. It can also be used anywhere inside the radio station itself if it has a terminal.
